President Obama

The White House web site says that President Obama is committed to creating the most open and accessible administration in American history; communicate with him.

Given security measures, allow about ten days to two weeks for a postal letter to reach President Obama. When time is of the essence, the many people who want the new administration to have a hard copy of any e-mail sent (which is a great idea) are advised to send the message both ways -- via e-mail and postal mail (the e-mail will be received immediately; the postal letter will be received after it passes inspection).

If You Live in Minnesota

While one of the Minnesota U.S. Senate seats is in dispute between Al Franken and Norm Coleman, if you live in Minnesota, please contact (pro-abortion) Al Franken at the address below. No mailing address for Norm Coleman is currently available.

Also contact Senator Amy Klobuchar:

The Honorable Amy Klobuchar

E-mail
If you live in Minnesota and you want to e-mail the Senate, given the one vacant senate seat, CatholicAnew recommends that, after you e-mail Senator Amy Klobuchar, you also e-mail Senator Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader. Here are their e-mail contact forms:

http://klobuchar.senate.gov/emailamy.cfm?contactForm=emailamy&submit=Go

http://reid.senate.gov/contact/index.cfm

At the beginning of your e-mail to Senator Reid, you might include a request such as the following:

I live in Minnesota and have already contacted Senator Amy Klobuchar. Since, my state's other senate seat is vacant, please handle this message regarding my position. Thank you.
