Oppose the "Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA)
Thank You for Your Opposition to FOCA

Using the below letter or the other sample letters on this issue and the other resources related to it, please put a letter in your own words (or use a sample letter as is), and mail it to your federal House representative, your two federal senators, President Obama, and sponsors of the bill in the previous Congress -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA). It's much better to send a form letter than not to send a letter at all. Note: no bill number is necessary until a new one is assigned. Subject: Thank You For Your Opposition to FOCA

As your constituent, I write this letter to thank you for your opposition to the Freedom of Choice Act, or "FOCA" legislation. I urge you to continue to oppose FOCA legislation in the 2009 Congress.

I and most Americans support the life-saving restrictions that FOCA would eliminate.

Unrestricted access to abortion does not protect women, reduce abortion rates, or grant "freedom of choice." Instead, we need to continue to promote the dignity of all human life. Please continue to oppose FOCA.

Thank you for your consideration of my position on this important issue.
