Dear Senator Klobuchar:
Subject: Please Oppose the Prevention First Act (S. 21/H.R. 463)
Hello. My name is (First Name, Last Name). I am writing to ask you to oppose
the Prevention First Act.
The Prevention First Act would force all federally funded hospitals to dispense
the morning after pill, an abortifacient. This would greatly affect Catholic
hospitals because of moral opposition to the morning after pill except when,
in the case of rape, thorough tests reveal that fertilization has not already
taken place.
Also, this act would send millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, the
nation's largest abortion provider. Don't you think that they already get
enough money from the government? I do. I hate to see an organization that
promotes the murder of unborn children get any federal or state dollars.
I know a lot of other people who are opposed to the Prevention First Act.
Please vote against this bill.
