Choice

Perhaps the most common sentiment on the lips of those who favor abortion on demand is this: "I am personally opposed to abortion, but I favor freedom of choice" ... Choice itself is not a value or a moral good: one chooses between moral alternatives ... To exalt "choice" as a good in itself ... is ultimately to deny that there is a difference between good and evil.
